So I joined youtube in 2006, and this was one of my very first videos that I had posted, I was completely obsessed with the nintendo Ds and wanted every game possible that was uber cute, like the tamagotchi game, I had cooking mama [which is the reason why I am such a bad-ass chef now :p] and I would play old gameboy games like hamtaro on it as well. Youtube just shot me an email that after 4 years of this particular video[above] being on youtube I’ve gotten to 17,000 views, and am now eligble to apply for their revenue program. I thought that was funny, considering I filmed this video on an imac before isight’s were built in, and it took 4 years to get that many views.
This video does remind me of an interesting time in my life which consisted very much of TONS of movie and television watching, house-wifery,having my own business on ebay, lots of asian-inspired cooking, and video games galore! Such a huge change from my life now, I also was only 20 when I made this video, and this year I will be tumbling over the quarter-life number.
I like all of the drastic changes, and big risks I’ve made in my life, it really makes for an interesting story, and funny to see how I’ve grown, or who I have dated, or where I’ve lived, but I will admit that turning 25 makes me want to have more concrete things in my life, and that’s what I’ve been striving for ever since last summer, it’s been a hell of a bumpy ride since then, but I can see some things leveling out [especially my emotional state] and having plans for my future always calms me down.
Well this was an especially long rant. bye.
My latest obsession with the color to the right is still going strong, it doesn’t help that it’s popping up in stores lately tempting me to buy just for the pleasure of the color!
